Amanda has been part of Rose Hill Center since July 2013, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She began her career in mental health in 2008 at New Passages/Hope Network, where she supported individuals in a group home setting. Since joining Rose Hill, she has grown through several roles, beginning as Support Staff, advancing to House Coordinator, and later transitioning into administrative support.

She attended Oakland Community College and brought a strong background in residential care, healthcare operations, and organizational support. In her current work, she contributes to several Rose Hill Center committees, including the Safety Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, and Internet Technology Committee, where she helps support system improvements and operational initiatives.

Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, swimming, spending time on the water, and reading. She also has a cat named Jiro, inspired by the renowned sushi chef featured in Jiro Dreams of Sushi. One of her favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou: “Try to be the rainbow in someone’s cloud.”
