Rose Hill Center is a residential rehabilitation program in a campus setting for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Rose Hill is located on over 400 acres in Holly, MI and considered to be a therapeutic farm community. The program provides medication support, education, and training to help people from all over the country achieve their highest level of independence. The program is accredited through the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan.

Residents are supported in their individualized goals through work team activities, group therapies, and engagement in social activities. Assistant Director of Clinical Servicesadvantages of a long-term mental health facility

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services will oversee assigned Case Manager(s) and work in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure program implementation and regulatory and accreditation compliance. This role serves as support to Case Managers and manages a limited caseload of Rose Hill Center residents’ care and treatment. Responsible for ensuring residents needs are met via psychosocial care and for supporting them in achieving and maintaining their highest level of independence. This is evidenced by achievement of residents’ individualized goals through our work team activities, group therapies, and engagement in social activities. The Assistant Clinical Director serves as the clinical leader when designated by, or in absence of, the Director of Clinical Services. This leader is expected to model and support the engagement of residents in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of illness or phase of recovery and use principles of trauma informed care and a willingness to support and assist residents with trauma related issues.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in working with individuals with a serious mental illness in either a hospital or community setting and successfully supervising employees within that environment.

Master’s degree in Social Work with appropriate state licensure is required.

Rose Hill is seeking an RN to provide full-time clinical case management in our Extended Residential Program. Small case loads in residential campus setting; no home visits. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, sensitivity for confidential information, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.

This position reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
Duties include:

  • Case Management – provide overall management and direction for the care of residents.
  • Development and implement a Person-Centered Plan of Service.
  • Communicate with families, significant others, mental health professionals, and appropriate health care providers to facilitate the resident’s treatment program.
  • Provide Group Therapy on a weekly on-going basis to the residents.
  • Complete required assessments on new residents and update as needed or per schedule.
  • Assist in the medical and pharmacological program for the residents.
  • Provide nursing support to residents in the Extended Resident Program. Provide nursing support in other programs as assigned.
  • Provide shared “on call” nursing coverage after normal working hours.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with current Registered Nurse state licensure

Team Support Specialists work hard every day to offer emotional support and help them achieve and maintain their highest level of independence. This is accomplished by supporting their individualized goals through our work team activities, group therapies, and engagement in social activities. Team Support Specialists demonstrate the ability to engage residents in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of illness or phase of recovery and use principles of trauma informed care and a willingness to support and assist residents with trauma related issues. Rose Hill provides a great opportunity for students in social work, nursing and other health care programs to gain valuable experience working in mental health, learning about psychiatric medication administration, and other aspects of mental health care. No physical ADL care is required when working in the Team Support Specialist role.
