Rose Hill is located on over 400 acres in Holly, MI and considered to be a therapeutic farm community. The program provides medication support, education, and training to help people from all over the country achieve their highest level of independence. The program is accredited through the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan.

Controller

The Controller is responsible for directing and managing the administrative functions of Rose Hill including financial (receivables and payables) and information systems; serves as Security Officer in compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule for the center. This position reports to the President and CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure application of sound principles in the day-to-day operations of the accounting function.
  • Manage account receivables; ensure timely invoicing and application of all receipts.
  • Manage account payables; ensure timely processing of all checks and vouchers.
  • Maintain insurance policies and records; track all incident reports and communications regarding claims with insurance companies.

Prepare for and supervise the annual audit conducted by independent auditors.

  • Direct and coordinate the annual budget process for review and approval by the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain and distribute current reports on financial status of the organization as required.
  • Provide monthly financial balance sheet report to President and CEO, Board Treasurer and Chair; provide quarterly report to Board of Directors.
  • Monitor budget and provide variance reports; participate in and recommend corrective action, as necessary.
  • Manage cash accounts and resident funds.
  • Manage all functions of the payroll process; assure accurate input of all payroll data.
  • Serve as primary liaison and coordinate information systems; maintain current knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and assure application in clinical record management.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, sensitivity for confidential information, and effective interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel are required. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

Requirements:

  • BA in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience
  • Three years’ related office/business experience

Full-time Sales, Marketing, and Admissions Assistant

This position supports the sales, marketing, and admissions functions through communications with referral sources, families, prospective patients and provides sales support to the Admissions Team. This position reports to and receives direction from the Director of Outreach and Communications. This position answers and responds to incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries regarding services offered by Rose Hill Center and screen inquiries to determine qualification of services and provide information and direction and refer qualified potential applicants to the Admissions Team. This position includes data entry and data management, including creating reports, and participating in sales and marketing events.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, phone skills, and the ability to provide general information about Rose Hill’s programs; work collaboratively and interdependently with patients and families, employees, and referral sources; and demonstrate strong organizational skills in project management and the ability to meet sensitive deadlines.

  •  Sales, marketing or related degree or coursework preferred.
  •  Related experience in sales and marketing required; sales and marketing experience within a non-profit health care setting preferred, but not required.

Team Support Specialist

Team Support Specialists are the primary support providers to our residents. Team Support Specialists work hard every day to offer emotional support and help them achieve and maintain their highest level of independence. This is accomplished by supporting their individualized goals through our work team activities, group therapies, and engagement in social activities. Team Support Specialists demonstrate the ability to engage residents in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of illness or phase of recovery and use principles of trauma-informed care and a willingness to support and assist residents with trauma-related issues. Rose Hill provides a great opportunity for students in social work, nursing and other health care programs to gain valuable experience working in mental health, learning about psychiatric medication administration, and other aspects of mental health care. No physical ADL care is required when working in the Team Support Specialist role.

  • Starting compensation is $12.25/hour; shift premium paid on 2nd and 3rd shifts
