To assist the clinical staff and Doctors’ in the medical care of the residents. Act as a liaison between staff and Doctors. Uphold standards of nursing practice and the standards of The Joint Commission.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Note and process orders from Doctors
- Document medication changes in charts and medication book
- Fax medication changes to pharmacy
- Review lab results, medical reports and facilitate follow up as indicated
- Act as primary contact with pharmacy, lab, physicians and other medical professionals
- Give injections (on call), draw blood, get urine samples, monitor weights and assess blood pressures on a regular basis
- Document in the medical record as necessary
- Complete nursing assessments
- Attend to medical needs of residents as needed
- Consult and assist in managing complex medical illnesses
- Complete at least 24 hours per year of formalized professional development and training annually
- Oversee compliance with The Joint Commission
- Other duties as assigned

Support the admissions and marketing functions through communications with referral
sources, families and prospective residents.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Answers, responds to, and screens incoming inquiries regarding services offered by Rose Hill Center and provide additional information and direction for next steps.
- Provide application and releases of information forms to prospective resident, families and referral sources.
- Schedule and conduct on-site tours / visits for prospective resident, families, and referral sources.
- Enter data regarding inquiries and maintain CRM database.
- Maintain CRM database of former residents and their families.
- Assist in establishing strong and effective external relationships with community-based marketing entities relating to referral development, admissions, and potential partnerships with programs and services.
- Research and initiate contact with new referral sources, in coordination with supervisor.
- Develop and maintain database for on-going contact; develop a process for continuous, on-going contact with families who have expressed interest in Rose Hill.
- Maintain referral files / schedule professional visits in coordination with Outreach.
- Maintain other program information and files.
- Appropriately represent Rose Hill on and off site.
- Coordinate with participants in external events.
- Serve on Admission / Marketing Committee.
- Maintain minutes of the Admissions Committee meetings.
- Create and maintain monthly reports used by the admissions department.
- Prepare correspondence to families regarding decisions made by the Financial Assistance Committee.
- Other duties as required.
Secondary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serves as backup to the Intake coordinator to complete initial resident documentation on day of admission.
- Serves as backup to the Intake Coordinator to coordinate entire day of admission: meeting with nurse to review medications, meeting with controller to review financials, complete preauthorization, schedule first meeting with case manager, etc.
Administrative Functions:
- Maintain current knowledge of and implement Rose Hill’s policies and procedures.
- Assure current procedural manual covering essential job functions.
- Utilize various computer software programs and implement systems to track contacts and admissions.
- Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, client, and staff information.
- Follow and enforce all established quality, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate on committees as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing, social services, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Two years related experience in non-profit health care setting preferred.
- Ability to meet the certification requirements in CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment / materials up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record.
- Satisfactory criminal / abuse background check.
- Advanced ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Other:
- Appropriate attire to represent Rose Hill Center to visitors and potential residents both when on the campus and in the community. Reliable personal transportation; travel in private automobile within Michigan and adjoining states and travel out-of-state requiring airline travel. May work extended hours; some weekend and evening work required. Overnight travel expected 20% or less.
Adult Part-time Psychiatrist
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services and compete all documentation required for clients of Rose Hill Center.
- Complete the Application for Clinical Services on an annual basis and comply with the Credentialing and Privileging Policy of Rose Hill Center.
- Attend group clinical meetings as required by Director of Clinical Services.
- Upon request, and with appropriate releases of information, provide information and consultation with family, guardians and community physicians/psychologist.
- Utilize pharmaceutical consult audits to review and approve appropriate medication and outlier prescriptions.
- Attend Recipient Rights Training and any other relevant training specific to the assigned program and responsibilities.
- Provide on-call coverage, in coordination with the Medical Director, to manage any emergency needs of Rose Hill Center.
- Available for emergency site visits, reimbursable at the hourly rate of pay.
- Prescribe medications to Rose Hill Center clients only while working at or for the center.
- Complete initial psychiatric evaluations, annual psychiatric evaluations, and quarterly AIMS scales.
- Pharmacy oversight and consulting.
- Receive supervision from the Medical Director.
- Active in treatment teams.
- Facilitate the advancement of electronic records.
- Facilitate the advancement of quality clinical practices and evidence-based practices.
- Represent Rose Hill Center in public, academic, medical, psychiatric, and any other relevant forums as needed.
- You will be available to provide one to two marketable, professional consultative/ conference opportunities nationally over the next year.
- Report to Medical Director and Director of Clinical Services.
Adult Part-time Clinical Therapist
Clinical Responsibilities:
Your individual services to the residents will be performed on a part time basis according to the needs of Rose Hill. At present, we contemplate that such services will be:
- Reports to and receive direction from the Director of Clinical Services.
- Providing individual therapy approximately three days per week, for approximately 16 hours per week.
- Group therapy for 2-3 groups per week and the completion of appropriate documentation.
- Participation in mutual peer consultation.
- The completion of clinical assessments, as requested.
- To the extent that additional services may be required in the future, the terms for provision of such services will be subject to our mutual written agreement.
- You will not be able to bill families CMH or insurance payers for any services you perform, in accordance with regulations of CMS and LARA, for residents in any Rose Hill programs as this fee is included their services.
