Brian Dilworth

Director of Philanthropy

Brian Dilworth is a nonprofit and philanthropic executive with more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, organizational leadership, strategic planning and community development. He currently serves as Director of Philanthropy for Rose Hill Center, where he leads the work of the Rose Hill Foundation and the organization’s philanthropic initiatives.
 
Throughout his career, Brian has helped lead successful capital campaigns totaling more than $175 million. His experience includes campaigns and advancement initiatives for Wayne State University’s Athletic Department and College of Engineering, Michigan Humane Society, Lourdes Senior Community, the Alzheimer’s Association, and several private high schools across the country.
 
Prior to joining Rose Hill Center, Brian led Innovative Advancement, a private consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations in fund development, strategic planning, organizational development, crisis management, board governance and marketing. His work has focused on helping organizations strengthen philanthropic relationships, build organizational capacity and position themselves for long-term growth.
 
Brian’s experience also extends to the corporate and public sectors. As Director of Corporate Development for an international Tier One automotive supplier, he was responsible for new-site identification and acquisition, negotiation and utilization of government incentives, and strategic planning initiatives in the United States, South America, Europe and Mexico. He has also worked in economic development at both the state and local government levels.
 
Throughout his career, Brian has developed a reputation for balancing immediate organizational priorities with long-term strategy, bringing together people, relationships and resources to help organizations achieve sustainable results.
 
Brian lives in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with his wife, Julie. And son Connor. An avid golfer, Brian also played and coached soccer at the collegiate and professional levels.
