Samantha Huier

MBA, Human Resources Manager

With more than three decades of experience in adult foster care and mental health, Sam brings a deep commitment to compassionate care, operational excellence, and supporting individuals on their path toward healing and stability.

A graduate of Davenport University, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration in 2006 and a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration in 2012. Her career began early, working as a CNA during high school before moving into adult foster care as soon as she turned 18.

Prior to joining Rose Hill Center in 2008, she spent eight years with a privately owned adult foster care organization in Genesee County that operated 14 homes. This foundation gave her valuable hands-on experience in residential care, mental health support, and the day-to-day needs of individuals living in community-based settings.

At Rose Hill, she continues to draw on her extensive experience to support a therapeutic environment rooted in dignity, respect, and individualized care. She believes strongly in kindness and empathy, guided by the quote, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years, their daughter, her mother-in-law, and their three dogs, Maddie, Sadie, and Molly.
