Kelli Waite

LMSW, Director of Clinical Services

As Director of Clinical Services at Rose Hill Center, Kelli is passionate about helping individuals achieve meaningful recovery and greater independence while navigating severe and persistent mental health challenges. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University, and an Associate Degree in Social Work. With nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including 13 years with Rose Hill Center, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

Her professional journey began in Arizona, where she worked with children and families in outpatient mental health settings. During that time, she gained valuable experience serving youth involved in Teen Drug Court, providing case management for families with significant mental health needs, and conducting forensic interviews for abused children. These early experiences strengthened her commitment to the field and helped shape her belief in compassionate, person-centered care.

After returning to Michigan, Kelli transitioned into adult mental health services and joined Rose Hill Center as a case manager. Over the years, she has served in nearly every clinical role within the organization, giving her a deep understanding of Rose Hill’s programs and the unique needs of the individuals served. She has received extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), approaches that continue to inform her clinical philosophy and leadership.

In her role as Director of Clinical Services, She takes great pride in guiding the clinical team and helping shape the delivery of services throughout the organization. She strongly believes in the therapeutic structure and recovery-focused approach Rose Hill Center provides and has seen firsthand how transformative these services can be for individuals living with complex mental health conditions. She also believes recovery is a family endeavor and values the important role loved ones play in supporting long-term healing and success.

Outside of work, Kelli enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children. They love traveling up north, trail riding, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. These experiences help keep her grounded and remind her of the importance of connection, balance, and enjoying life’s simple moments. Her hope is that every resident and family who comes to Rose Hill Center feels seen, heard, and hopeful as they work toward returning to the simple, meaningful moments they cherish with their loved ones.

“Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.”
