Alysha Gonwicha
Assistant Director of Operations
Alysha began working in the mental health field in 2024 after more than 10 years of experience in health and human services. Before joining Rose Hill Center, she spent five years working in geriatrics and hospice care, followed by five years involved in child welfare. Her path into mental health was deeply shaped by her experience as a licensed foster parent, where she and her husband specialized in caring for sibling groups and children with intense behavioral needs. This experience introduced Alysha to the importance of psychiatric care and strengthened her interest in supporting individuals and families through complex challenges.
Alysha joined Rose Hill Center in 2024 and serves as the Assistant Director of Operations. In this role, she oversees Team Support Specialists and Residential Shift Coordinators, helping ensure residents receive consistent support while staff have the guidance and resources they need. She appreciates Rose Hill Center as an exciting and meaningful place to work and values the opportunities it provides for both residents and team members.
Alysha is also involved in Rose Hill Center’s Safety, PIC, and TIC committees. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading. Alysha and her husband have five children, two dogs, and two cats. A favorite quote that reflects her values is, “When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.”
