Anxiety vs Depression: What’s the Difference?

Mental Health Services, Mental Health Therapy, mental health treatmentBy Rose Hill CenterJune 16, 2019

Anxiety and depression are two of the most common mental health disorders. Millions of Americans suffer from these conditions each year. Dear Rose Hill Families and Friends:

As you are all aware, we are in the midst of a time like none this generation has ever experienced as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains first and foremost on all of our minds. At Rose Hill Center, our leadership team continues to monitor the situation as it unfolds, taking guidance from public health experts, including our local health department, city and state officials, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

At the same time, we have implemented a number of new procedures to ensure the safest environment possible at our campus. I want to assure you that nothing is more important to me and the rest of our leadership team than the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. With this in mind, I want to share with you our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and do our part in the public health emergency.

We have limited visitor access and continue to screen for symptoms and exposure. We have also stepped up our cleaning and sanitization efforts throughout our entire campus and, in an effort to be proactive, have allocated space where residents can be quarantined in the event they exhibit signs or symptoms from possible exposure. We have implemented strict testing procedures for both staff and residents using the most accurate tests available.

Our health care staff is conducting daily temperature readings of all residents and continues to remind everyone of the CDC guidelines for proper hand hygiene and the proper use of masks. In an effort to promote social distancing, residents are delivered meals to their individual homes. Our staff clearly recognizes that the COVID-19 outbreak may cause additional stress or anxiety for our residents and has been diligently working to provide the necessary support. We have a full team of case managers, counselors and physicians who provide highly-specialized mental health care to meet the varying needs of our residents.

AT THIS TIME, ROSE HILL CENTER IS ACCEPTING NEW RESIDENTS to our program. Click here for a full description of the admission process and safety measures.

As we continue to navigate these coming days and weeks, I want to thank everyone for their continued support of our staff and residents at Rose Hill Center. We will continue to stay in touch with you as developments unfold, however, please do not hesitate to call us at (866)809-7017 with any questions.

Once again thank you again for supporting our team. We will get through this together.
