Extended Residential Rehabilitation

Providing daily care and supervision

Our Extended Residential Rehabilitation Program has proven to be an important option for those people who, despite showing improvement in the Residential Rehabilitation Program, still require a moderate level of staff assistance to structure their days.

Three extended residential rehabilitation buildings, all located on Rose Hill’s campus, accommodate up to 23 patients.  Each house provides:

  • Round-the-clock supervision
  • Organized social and volunteer activities
  • Community meals
  • Medication monitoring in a safe and supportive setting

Extended Residential Rehabilitation Program patients focus on achieving meaningful daily activities in the community rather than on moving through stages. They are important contributing members of both the Rose Hill and surrounding communities, and they have received numerous awards for volunteerism.

Participants in this program make use of the resources at Rose Hill including:

  • Library
  • Computer lab
  • Gym and exercise rooms
  • Art and music classes

Town trips, outings and activities in the community are part of the weekly schedule.
